Peak HiFi is a well established business and was formed in 2004 as audio consultants specialising in high quality audio equipment, with a particular fondness for stereo and analogue equipment, we are particularly enthusiastic for classic turntables such as the Garrard 301 and the Garrard 401. Peak HiFi offers a select range of new and approved used equipment, accessories and services. Reconditioned Garrard 301 and 401 units are available as well as beautifully engineered plinths for these decks. We welcome you to visit us ay our premises in the Peak District and to take advantage of our relaxed surroundings and two demonstration rooms where we can demonstrate all of the equipment and assist you with your selection. The world's oldest and most experienced cartridge manufacturer, was founded in 1918 by two Danish engineers, Axel Petersen and Arnold Poulsen. The first Moving Coil cutterhead was produced as early as 1945, and the Moving Coil principle was then further developed to enable production of, first, mono cartridges and, later, also stereo cartridges.

With a range that now spans entry level HiFi through to audiophile products and a superb range of DJ and professional cartridges Ortofon are, without doubt, the worlds largest and most dedicated manufacturer of analogue reproduction systems.

Currently investing around Ł500,000 per annum in R&D and new machinery, Ortofon are committed to the future of record playing and intend staying at the very forefront of the market.
