Peak HiFi are pleased to be able to offer the Precision Audio Components bearing upgrades for Garrard 301 and 401 turntables as used in the top of the range solid chassis 301 turntables from Classic HiFi www.classichifi-shop.co.uk/
The bearing pictured is a solid stainless steel oil bearing we can also offer a grease bearing version as well as an alternative manufactured in brass. The bearing is massively oversized to add mechanical stability over the original bearing thus bringing about an improved sense of grip and control to the music and further reducing the noise platform but without loosing the hallmark Garrard sound.
The bearing is fitted with two precision-machined phosphor bronze bushes with spiral lubrication grooves to ensure the bearing never runs dry which would cause irrevocable damage to you spindle. The bearing is supplied as standard with a ceramic bearing for the ultimate in close tolerance low friction contact.
The bearing can also be supplied with a choice of alternative bearing upgrades in either Phosphor Bronze, Brass or Stainless Steel.
Please note the bearing does not include the spindle, you must use your own 301 or 401 spindle.
