Description

The Cyrus 40 PPA offers complete flexibility, catering to various cartridge preferences. Whether a user prefers the convenience of a Moving Magnet cartridge or the precision and detail of a Moving Coil cartridge, the 40 PPA accommodates both with ease.

Connect up to Four Turntables

A standout feature of the 40 PPA is its ability to connect up to four different turntables. This allows users to effortlessly switch between turntables, arms, or cartridges as desired. Each input can be adjusted to suit either Moving Magnet or Moving Coil cartridges, with specific gain (adjustable in 5dB increments), resistance, and capacitance settings available independently.

Balanced/Unbalanced Options

Depending on the system configuration, the 40 PPA provides both balanced XLR outputs and unbalanced RCA outputs, ensuring versatility for various audio setups.

Power Supply and Noise Reduction

The 40 PPA benefits from a high-capacity, low-noise DC power supply. This ensures the preamplifier delivers an exceptionally wide dynamic range, enabling it to maintain extended signal levels long before reaching clipping. Careful attention to circuit layout and component placement results in an incredibly low noise floor, further enhancing musical dynamics.

Custom Remote Control

The custom-designed remote control allows users full access to the setup and operation of the 40 PPA, as well as other products in the 40 series from Cyrus.

40 Series Chassis

The 40 PPA is housed in a sleek, brushed, black hard-anodised aluminium case. It features a 5” high-resolution TFT display, complemented by a toughened glass front panel and capacitive touch controls that remain hidden until lit.
