Hana Umami Blue Moving Coil Cartridge
Hand-built in Japan by Excel Sound, the Hana Umami Blue combines design elements from the Umami Red with an Alnico moving-coil generator.
A nude Microline diamond stylus mounted on a solid boron cantilever traces fine groove detail. Hand-wound, high-purity copper coils and cryogenically treated generator components complete the signal-generating assembly.
The distinctive Auricle™ body is machined from Duralumin and finished in glossy blue. Threaded mounting holes simplify installation, while the supplied stylus guard protects the cantilever when not in use.
Its low output requires a suitable MC phono stage or compatible step-up arrangement.
